Where your project data lives
The short answers firms ask before they put a project into ILX Connection.
Hosting
Your projects are stored on ILX Studio, LLC's own server in the United States, not on a shared cloud platform.
Encryption in transit
Every page, the app and every download use HTTPS (TLS), and our gateway reaches the server through an encrypted tunnel. Nothing travels unencrypted over the internet.
What is stored
Your projects and connections (inputs, marks, notes), your settings and title block, and your account. Results, drawings and reports are recalculated from the inputs when you open or print them.
Backups
The project database is backed up every day, and the last 14 daily backups are kept. You can also download a project, or all of your work, at any time from the app.
Accounts and passwords
One ILX account signs you in. Passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes, never in plain text, and new accounts confirm their email address with a one-time code.
Payments
Stripe processes every payment as the merchant of record. Your card details go to Stripe only and never reach ILX Studio, LLC.
No tracking
No advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and no tracking cookies. We count page views on our own server, without cookies, to see which pages help people.
Your data stays yours
We never sell or share your projects. Ask us to delete your account and data at any time: services@ilxstudio.com.
