Your settings, sheets and reports
Set your title block and report once, override them for one project, and print calculation reports, drawing sheets, DXF files and whole project packages.

Two layers of settings
ILX Connection keeps two layers of settings: your own defaults, and the changes for one project. Your defaults belong to you, not to the whole firm. Select the gear in the header to open Settings. It opens on My defaults.
Title block and logo
On the Title block tab, enter your firm name, address, phone and license. The logo text is the short name printed in the logo box of the title block. Then add the engineer of record, and the general notes you put on every sheet. Select Save my defaults when you are done.
Sheet settings
Under Sheets, pick your default sheet size: eleven by seventeen, or letter, landscape or portrait. Set the sheet number prefix, and the status line, such as preliminary, not for construction.
Project settings
When one project needs something different, pick the project in the scope bar, and change only that field. It is marked Project. Everything else is marked Inherited, and keeps following your defaults. The reset arrow puts a field back. Select Save for this project.
Report settings
The Report tab shapes the calculation report. Start from a preset: standard, the full calculation package, a summary for review, or checks only. Then fine-tune the groups, such as the header and footer, the detail level, the drawings, the units and the section order. Preview report shows a real PDF with your changes, before you save.
Printing one connection
To print a connection, use the output bar under the drawings. Calc report makes the PDF. Its menu also offers Customize this report, which changes one PDF without touching your settings. Drawing sheet makes the sheet at your default size, and its menu picks another size. Drawing DXF gives you the same sheet for your CAD drawings.
The whole project
For the whole job, open the project menu. Calc package makes one PDF with a cover page, a table of contents, and every connection, with the drawing sheets at the end. All sheets gives you the full sheet set, numbered in order.
